Brittain does not seem old enough to reason with like that yet.
So we're keeping it for now.
And when we get there I'll definitely use the Binky Fairy idea and also cut a hole in the binky so she's not as in love with it before it does a disappearing act.

Andrea-it was a super important (branch) call. You should see how fast Ryan can go from a dead sleep in our room, to the far side of the living room when the phone rings at the time of day. With Jakey I just had to go cold turkey, (b/c he was 3! ugh). Anyway, luckily I had the plan to tell him he had to give his passies to Aunt Mo-Mo, (since she was having twins--we only had 2 passies for Jakey). So he totally fell for it. And whenever he asked for them, I just kindly reminded him that the babies needed them. Oh, and we also let him pick a cheap toy from Target in place of "pappy." (He picked out some "Little Hearts" stuffed tiny chicken that was like 3 bucks). ;)C. Madison was easy, Jacob was devastated that we cut his and I quickly had to replace it, and Brooklyn, well, yeah, she still has hers and she just turned 2! There is no "binky rule" just mommy instincts! Follow her vibes and she'll let you know. Even if you are pulling it out of her mouth as she walks into kindergarten! He-He!
