Remember when...

I thought it would be a good idea to check my email while Brittain painted?

(I love watercolors! So much fun. Such a big mess. So quick to clean up!)

She is so stinkin' cute Dest! I can't believe she is about to be 2!! You are a good Mom...my boys beg for the Color Wonder paint--but it's such a fight over it, I hardly pull it out! :( (I have more paint packed up too though).

You should totally put this on your wall in your new toy room!!! I love this picture. And, I'm so amazed with all the fun things you do with your kids...pulling out paints for a 1 year old! You are incredible. And, that's why your kids are so artsy. I like to blame it on the fact that I have 3 boys and that's why I never do stuff like that (cause boys are messier...ha!), but really it's because I'm too OCD.
Love ya!

Everything about horse betting

Horse racing's traditions give it unique flavor and character, but to be successful, it must be willing to evolve to catch up to the present and to meet the future. We most certainly hope that it does.
horse racing systems
In a sport that is not only highly competitive but relies on high-stakes gambling to sustain itself, some people feel it is unlikely that a practice shown to be a disadvantage would continue. However, such cruelties exist and many countries are taking strong steps to stop it. Like in India for example, it is banned, that is until the jockey has proven himself.

Some of horse racing's most legendary names failed to capture this event. Man o' War managed only 2 out of the 3 legs (did not start in the Kentucky Derby); Seabiscuit, after losing 17 straight races as a two year old wasn't even considered (although he did later beat 1937's Triple Crown winner, War Admiral in a match race); Cigar never competed, starting his great winning streak late in his fourth year.

Barbaro with Edgar Prado on board has won all 6 of his lifetime starts, 4 of his wins in 2006 and all at distances of a mile or more (his first 3 races were on the turf). Barbaro will be the odds on favorite for the Preakness. Gone are the double digit returns when we picked him for the Derby so most of us are left looking for horses to combine him with for the exacta, trifecta and superfecta wagers. Even though we want to see him win, at the probable scant return for a win, one must look to see if there's a horse in the field that can best him.

Everything about horse betting

We came across an article on ESPN.com written by Bill Finley entitled "2005 was a lousy year for horse racing." In his article Mr. Finley cites 9 reasons why 2005 was such a bad year for horse racing in America. Although we agree with several of his observations, number 8 on his list, "U.S. Pari-Mutuel Handle Falls", should have been dealt with more objectively.

Another sad fact is that more than 400 in-racing horses die every year in the UK alone. They may die on the course itself, from injuries received in training or be killed by their owners - considered no longer commercially viable.

Will Barbaro be the next Triple Crown winner? He has the breeding and the talent, but as of this writing twenty horses have won the first two legs of the Triple Crown only to fail at Belmont. Twenty five more have won two of the three races, but maybe this year...

As the field takes shape for the 131st running of the Preakness Stakes this Saturday, the question on everyone's minds is do we finally have a horse that can win the Triple Crown?

t For the past 20 years, the Lloyd Aquifer has been protected by a state imposed "moratorium" on drilling any new wells into it unless they are for use by "coastal communities." Coastal communities are areas vulnerable to saltwater intrusion. When sea water moves inland, taking the place of fresh water in the aquifers, this is saltwater intrusion. By this process, water can eventually become too salty to drink and the affected community must find a new source of water. True "green banking" is about WHERE the bank puts its money. Whether you open a savings account, CD, or IRA, the bank can then use your money as it pleases to build up its equity. So you had better make sure you know what the bank's investment strategies are. Cycling Clothing Create a weekly schedule for yourself, including what time you are exercising and what exercises you will be doing. Your diet, or what foods you consume and don't consume, is of utmost importance in your quest to attain and maintain a lean physique. Try to limit consumption of excess calories, such as soda, alcohol, sweets, and fried foods. The place players were routing water towards became a bathtub, at which point the designers had to devise a reason for having a bathtub underground. That reason came from the urban legend of alligators living in city sewers, so the game's lead character became a "hygiene-conscious alligator". Unlike many mobile games released by Disney, where characters from the company's films are used, Where's My Water? represents the first time that Disney has produced an original character for a mobile game. Cycling Cloth Be sure to measure in the same location every time and record your measurements. Once you know where you are starting from, you need to determine where you want to be going. For some, the goal may be to add lean muscle to their physique. Use the plates to make crafts on foul-weather days or whenever you want the kids to stay busy. Remember that every dish you use will have to be washed, unless you use disposables. Using disposables means more trash to carry out at the end of your adventure, however. Bring a waterproof backpack that is large enough to hold all of your items. Do not forget waterproof, strike-anywhere matches, a campfire pot, cups and eating utensils. Walking poles are useful for snowy weather, to help you navigate through slippery areas.
