Just words: Lucky stars

The other day I was heading to the golden arches for lunch with the girls. On the way Brittain and Chapel both fell asleep. What happened after that was magic.

I made a beeline for Arby's instead. (It had to be drive-thru.) I ordered lunch, including curly fries that I wouldn't have to share! Next to me on the passenger seat was a book just calling my name. I knew if I pulled over and stopped the car it could potentially mean game over. So I took the long way home, made sure the girls were really out before finding a place to park. Then for 90 blissful silent minutes I sat in the car, eating my lunch, every last fry, while soaking up the sun and a novel. I told you it was magic!

Dest,
I LOVE this post. It is so funny and so you. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE the photos. Everytime I see another family photgrapher's photos, I think, "they are so not as good as Dest." Hahahaha! Really! I hope I can visit soon. Inshallah (God willing in Arabic). I am learning a lot of awesome things here in Texas, but there are many days that I would more than willing ly trade them for one silly evening with your preciously wonderful crew. Love and kisses to all the monkeys.

Wow, that was a magical 90 minutes. I was thinking about you the other day and how I REALLY want to drive out to Asheville and have you take some shots of all my girls AND catch up with you of course! When is your spring break?

I love magical times like that. There have been a couple of times the kids have fallen asleep on the way home, when I just parked the car in the driveway & napped until they woke up.

I love those magic moments!!! I love the fact that you were so excited to eat somewhere other then the usual kid favorites, I have soooo been there. You are inspiring me to do more blogging again. I have been such a slacker at that lately. Maybe with my new camera I will get inspired enough to do it regularly again.
