Do Not be fooled...

by this darling little dimpled smile. Hiding just behind that charming little face is...

a Toddler Monster!

Whose age is just about to catch up with him. Although he's not officially 2 yrs until the 29th of this month, he's been acting like it for the last several months. His favorite sayings include "No way, Mommy!", "I do it myself", "I don't want it!", and "STOP IT, Avery" (whether or not she's even in the room!) He also thinks hitting Avery is a great way to pass the time. (Those two love to go the rounds!) I get tired of being their referee (sp?) so when Mason hits and Avery tattles they both get in trouble. Avery smartened up and now if Mason hits her I overhear her tell Mason to "go tell Mom you hit Avery", which he will. He then becomes the hitter and the tattler. He still has so much to learn! Seriously though, even with all his two-year-oldness he is so much fun. And sooo easy to love! He loves to "hold you, Mommy" and tell knock knock jokes over, and over, and ... He really keeps us laughing!

Oh, we can't believe that innocent little face would have something so awful hiding behind it...haha. We totally know what you are going through. Luke has decided to hit his terrible somethings a little early. Maybe he'll get them out of the way before the new baby comes...not likely :).

Aww, he is a cutie too!

I can "second" this...for Jacob that is. :) Jacob is a lot of fun, but look out for the monster lurking! :)

I totally understand. I think that Parker has gotten worse at age 3 than he was at age 2. He is very independent and bull-headed. Maybe it is a boy thing! It is just hard to think that such cute little boys could be hiding inside!

It's a good thing they are so cute, isn't it? It makes us so much more tolerable of their ummmm, "toddlerness"?

We're just on the verge of it with Henry... he's 15 months old and beginning to learn that he can have opinions all his own, and that by screaming, he may actually get what he wants. But he's totally adorable. So it's okay!

He looks like a lot of fun and trouble... I skipped the parent role and went instead straight to the grandparent role... Much more fun and a bit cheaper too... :-)
Really a cute couple of kids..
