Back to the Grind

So, Christmas is over. Our tree is down. Life is back to normal-ish. Morning found me loading dishes in the dishwasher and sweeping crumbs from under the table. Is that really from just one meal?! Then I started a load of laundry. Let me tell you. Laundry has never been this much fun!

This girl loves the spin cycle!! Everytime she hears/feels the washer start shaking she drops what she's doing and makes her way over. She is all smiles. She'll lean her head against it, dance, and grin from ear to ear. It's pretty hilarious!

I'm also happy to announce that big sister's love for and keen sense of fashion has exploded to include her baby sister's wardrobe.

That's all. Just wanted to share what made me smile this morning!

Isn't it wonderful how kids can turn the most mundane activities into joys!?! You would think that dishes are the funnest toy since the slinky when Luke does them :)

What a cute little girl. I wish laundry were that fun around my house. Sounds like we had similar days. Let's live closer so we can play!

WAAAAYYY cute! That sounds like a much nicer morning than mine was. :)

I just wanted to tell you that Avery was so sweet to Caleb yesterday. He came in and she said, "CAALLEEB!" It made me smile. And I think he remembered her, but he is so shy...(just like his dear Mommy!) :) Anyway...hope you have a good week! We seriously need to get together when I (we) come back!

I think that last picture of Brittain looks like Ryan... I took our tree down today too. I love Christmas, but was glad to get the openness back in my living room, and no longer have to worry about the puppy eating the tree lights. :)

I wish I could take my tree down. Katelund begged me to keep it up until she has to go back to school. I can't believe how big Brittain is. It is so crazy how quickly they grown up. She's adorable!!

She is such a doll. That last picture with her turned towards us made us put our arms out to see if she would come! That is so funny that she belly's up to the washer! so does Avery pick her cloths? She can't be having her embarras her when she comes to pick her up from school!
