It's your birthday, shout Hooray!

I can hardly believe that you are a year old. Seems like just yesterday you were brand new.

That may be largely due to the lack of sleep from then until now!

You were so anxious to join our family, Brittain. If you'd only known then... We learned you were on your way only nine (and a half) months after your big brother Mason got here. I only panicked a little one Sunday morning when I thought Mason wouldn't even be a year before your arrival. When I figured out I'd done the math wrong and actually he'd be the ripe old age of 1 1/2 years (aka nursery age)I knew we could do it. And I was so excited! I think you two would have been twins if I could have handled it. You are the best of friends and Mason has been smitten with you since day one. You always have so much fun together!

And Avery was so excited to hear you were a girl, "Can't ya believe it! I got my sister," she said. She's such a good helper with you.

You are a wiggle worm. You almost never hold still for longer than 2 seconds at a time. That is why we treasure moments like this...

You are such a tiny little thing. Still. It's so cute to watch you cruising and walking around. You look way too little. You found your voice recently and you love to talk and sing. You've been saying "dada" for a long time and have finally added "momma" to your vocabulary. Thanks for that. We are pretty tight. It's only right that you use my name occasionally.

It's been so much fun watching you grow and come into your own. It is such a blessing having you in our family. I love you so much! I could just kiss you all day long! So please, don't grow up too fast. And please, please, pretty please keep on sleeping at night so that this next year is not such a blur!

Love always,
your Mama

She is such a doll! I just want to kiss that messy face :) It's so hard to see your kids grow up. Every year seems to go by too fast. Sarah turned 7, Luke will be 2, and Jaden will be 5 and in Kindergarten! Where are my babies!?!

That was so sweet Dest!! It literally made my eyes tear. :)

She is adorable, what a gem! I can't believe she's already 1 either. I seriously remember when you said you were having "morning sickness." Time goes way too fast...*sigh* (I'm thinking how it will be 3 years since we moved from there- this summer!!)

I know, where have I been you ask? Well out of my mind with my internet company! After struggling to stay connected all the time I suggested that maybe it was the modem, "mam your modem isn't very old and I can fix any problem you are having over the phone"...long story short after going the rounds with some crazy redneck on the phone I told him I really felt it was the modem and that I was taking it in to our local store to be checked, he was ticked! Anyway yes in fact it was the modem...thank you sir and now we are back in business! I can't even believe Brittain is one already wow, time flew! She is so sweet and precious. We miss you all so very much please give all the kiddos love for us and we have a little package on the way for them!!

This was great the read and see the great pics and memories. I know you think time has flown now, but make memories in your heart because you will wake up and they will be teens then grown and having families...I know you think it is a long way off but wow how time flies. I can't believe Ronnie and Carmen have two beautiful boys and Kevin is happy and married for almost three yrs. now. Take care and love and prayers for your family. Pat
